Men in Kilts Cleaners Shine Up the Windows in Boston

It's a far cry from the Scottish Highlands, but kilted window cleaning warriors are causing a stir in Boston, Massachusetts, with their unique take on the job.

The Men in Kilts outdoor cleaning company hopes to put a spring in the step of passers-by with its mandatory uniform of the traditional Scots dress.

The business's owner, Judy Briggs, told the local Holliston and Hopkinton Patch newspaper why. “We’ve all had window washers in the past and when you think of them you see a faceless kind of person, but when you see the kilts it's something memorable,” she explained. "It's something that a lot of people give weird looks at when the first see," Briggs said. "But they're always smiling when they see the kilts."

The report added that although the kilted window cleaners are there to brighten up the day, there is a strict “no peeking” rule when they are up their ladders!
